Camera PSL FAQ
Does Camera PSL upload or save my face?
The Camera PSL scan does not upload your camera frames, landmarks, scores, video, or PNG. If you explicitly buy the deep analysis, one selected camera frame and the final geometry result are sent to the AI service for that request.
How much does Camera PSL cost?
The scan runs on your device, and scanning is free and unlimited once you log in — new accounts get 10 welcome credits toward the first deep analysis. The deep analysis (10 credits) adds the AI cross-verified score, your PSL tier and advice.
Is this an attractiveness percentile?
No. Version 1 is a deterministic geometry estimate on PSL Scale's existing 0–8 display. It does not claim a population percentile.
Why might my result change?
Camera angle, distance, expression, lighting, and lens distortion can change measured geometry. Use soft light, face forward, and keep the phone steady.
Why did I get WebM instead of MP4?
The browser chooses a locally supported recording format. Camera PSL prefers MP4 when available, otherwise uses WebM and always offers a Story PNG fallback.
