What is a true mirror?
A normal mirror reverses the orientation you are used to seeing in a camera image. Online true mirror tools let you inspect both versions. Here, original means the pixels supplied by your photo or camera, and flipped means a horizontal reflection of those pixels. If a saved selfie was already mirrored, the tool cannot infer that history from the picture alone.
Why the flipped face can feel unfamiliar
